Mr. Devang
Nanavati has been a
practicing advocate in the
Gujarat High Court and the
Supreme Court of India
since 1995. Mr. Nanavati was
appointed as the Additional
Central Standing
Counsel in the Gujarat High
Court by the Ministry of Law,
Justice & Company
Affairs, Government of India
from 2001to 2004. Mr. Nanavati
won the prestigious
‘Lead India 2008’ contest
organized by the Times of
India in Gujarat and also
emerged as ‘Runners-up’ at the
National level.
A bachelor in
international studies
from Pepperdine University,
USA, Mr. Nanavati also
completed his law graduation
from Sir L A Shah Law College,
Ahmedabad.He was awarded thirteen
gold medals and a prize by
Gujarat University in
law graduation.
Mr.
Nanavati is a special invitee of
the BJP’s state executive in
Gujarat. He is
also the National Convenor of
the ‘Friends of BJP’, as well as
the convenor of
the BJP’s ‘Intellectual cell’ in
Gujarat. A keen sportsman, Mr.
Nanavati has
been deeply involved with
billiards and snooker in India
in several capacities.
